Why choose me?
Here are six reasons.
Experience
Since 1978 I have been a full-time conservation architect based in Brisbane, working on all sorts of places for all sorts of clients. Nobody else in practice here has that depth of experience.
I’m small, in a good way
I operate as a solo practitioner. My practice is a small, flexible business in which I do the work, instead of supervising other people. There's no Department of Human Resources Management here, just a single expert. I’ll fit right into your team.
Awards
I have won a swag of them in the past, but now I’d rather serve as an awards judge than a recipient.
Facilities
All the facilities I need are here—a library of books, a kit of cameras and, it goes without saying, a crash of computers.
Motivation
I am a conservation architect because this work is important to me and I want to do it as well as I can. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and I work all hours on each project until it’s right—this can be a curse, but I keep reality in sight
Skills
I add writing, photography and graphic design to my core architectural skills. And I can turn my hand to web design, as you can see on this very website.
